The motherboard connects all the parts together on one board; that’s why there are lots of cables and connectors that have to be disconnected in order to replace the motherboard. That means that you might get lost trying to figure out which cable is which. this is why you need to keep coming back to the pictures and trying to take a good look at the markers on the pictures, it’s very specific on which cables to disconnect. This also applies when trying to reassemble the motherboard back into its place.

Furthermore, you have lots of other pre-requisites for other components that need to be taken off before the motherboard. This will also make the job a little bit harder and take much longer to complete.
