Edit Step 1 Remove the faceplate  ¶

  • Remove the faceplate from the system. Grab a part of the faceplate, and it should come off.

Edit Step 2 Find the emergency eject hole  ¶

Edit Step 2 Find the emergency eject hole  ¶

  • With the faceplate off of the 360, find a small hole on the front of the 360 without the faceplate and stick a paperclip in the hole. This is typically under an X on the system. This system doesn't have it, so this example will be to recover the game or keep the warranty.

Edit Step 3 Reinstall the faceplate  ¶

  • Reinstall the faceplate on the system. To do this, push on the faceplate until all of the clips are aligned and snapped in. Run your hand over the faceplate to be sure once you finish.

Conclusion

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
