What you need

    • Insert the flat end of a spudger in between the bottom of the head strap clip and the head strap padding.

    • Pry up on the head strap clip until it is unclipped from the head strap.

    • To reinstall, first locate the recesses on the head strap for mounting the clip. Next, align the clip with the recesses, verify the tether cable is threaded through the clip, then simply press the clip back into place.

Why are these clips so expensive? At $39.99 it's like someone mashed an extra 9 when putting in the price, the face gasket which is much larger, uses more material and is more robust costs less than half, even the power adapters are $5 cheaper.

Yeah. The price is seriously insane! Two smaller zipties fit through that opening just fine and cost me pennies and work better than that cheap plastic clip.

Maybe i might have a older verison of the index because the larger clip piece on the top doesnt even clip in

Don't bother buying a clip, just buy some zipties. I bought 2 clips and they both only lasted 2 weeks. The plastic they use is to weak for long term use.

Are these things ever in stock? I've been waiting for them to be in stock fort weeks. I can't imagine that too many people need them so why are they always sold out?
