Introduction

The base's motherboard is attached via wires, to the bracket of the charging contact points.

  1. Unscrew the two 10.0mm Philips #0 screws located on the bottom and the back of the base. There should be two screws on the bottom of the base and a single screw on the back.

  2. Facing the bottom side of the base, run the black spudger along the crevice to one side, and then to the other.

    • With a gentle application of force, the two parts of the base's body should separate.

    • Hold the anterior part of the base's body, with the side which shows only the exterior, facing the palm.

    • Unscrew the 10.0mm Philips #0 round head screw, located on the black bracket which holds the charger contact points.

    • The black bracket should pop off.

    • Gently pull up on motherboard, in order to separate it from the base.
