Introduction

The base's motherboard is attached via wires, to the bracket of the charging contact points.

Unscrew the two 10.0mm Philips #0 screws located on the bottom and the back of the base. There should be two screws on the bottom of the base and a single screw on the back. Facing the bottom side of the base, run the black spudger along the crevice to one side, and then to the other. With a gentle application of force, the two parts of the base's body should separate.
