What you need

  1. Toshiba Satellite L305D-S5895 Hard Drive Replacement, Hard Drive: step 1, image 1 of 2 Toshiba Satellite L305D-S5895 Hard Drive Replacement, Hard Drive: step 1, image 2 of 2

    • Locate these two screws that you will need to remove.

    • Undo these two screws with the Phillips #0 Screwdriver.

    • Use your finger to lift and remove the cover to the Hard Drive.

    • Pull the black ribbon back and up to remove the Hard Drive.

    • Remove the cover to reveal the hard drive.

    • Pull out the hard drive using the ribbon attached to it.
