Toshiba Excite 7c Speaker Replacement

Introduction

This guide will show you how to replace the speaker on your Toshiba Excite 7c. The speaker may need to be replaced if it is buzzing, sound quality has decreased noticeably, or if the speaker has stopped working altogether.

What you need

    • To open your device use the plastic opener. Locate the seam on your device and gently separate applying pressure down all four sides.

    • The back casing will start to peel away from the screen.

    • Carefully lift and remove the back panel with tablet lying face down on table. this will reveal the back side.

    • Remove the black piece of tape off of the speaker

    • Trace the speaker wires to the motherboard.

    • Disconnect the speaker connector from the motherboard.
