  1. Remove the 7 philips head screws from the back.
    • Remove the 7 philips head screws from the back.

    • Lift off back cover.

  2. Using a plastic pry tool disconnect the battery from the motherboard.
    • Using a plastic pry tool disconnect the battery from the motherboard.

    • Remove the five black phillips screws from the battery.

    • The battery can now be removed from the laptop.

    • There is one in each corner and the center.
