What you need

    • Press firmly on lower portion of the back cover and slide the cover towards the bottom to remove cover.

    • Pull on the plug carefully until it releases from the port and simply pull the battery out after.

    • Pry open the casing with a plastic opening tool .

    • Unscrew the five 4.5 mm screws to allow access to the motherboard.

    • Lift the motherboard and set it onto the backside of the screen.

    • Pry the speaker out of retainer clip with iFixit pry tool.

    • Pry the speaker clip from the motherboard using tweezers.
