Introduction

Does your phone run out of juice faster? Does your phone require you to charge it more often? Replacing the battery may solve these problems.

  6. Pry the plastic motherboard shield open by placing the spudger under the shield and running it along the edges.

Does this fix change the waterproof efficiency?

Hello atilasilva,

I guess so. Since you have to either replace the complete back cover or at least the glue line around the back cover I think the phone will not be completely waterproof again. It still may be solid splash proof.
