  • The front cover also holds the keyboard assembly.

  • Remove the memory door to access the screw for the keyboard.

  • The screws for the memory door do not come out. they are held from falling out.

Image 1/3: When the front of the keyboard is about two inches up. Carefully, using the blue spudger, pull out and slightly up on the connector clip. Then remove the wire connector. Image 2/3: Gently lift the key board assembly up and out. Image 3/3: Gently lift the key board assembly up and out.
  • Gently pry the keyboard assembly from the front. (closest to the screen) With the blue spudger.

  • When the front of the keyboard is about two inches up. Carefully, using the blue spudger, pull out and slightly up on the connector clip. Then remove the wire connector.

  • Gently lift the key board assembly up and out.

  • Locate the wires and connectors.

  • Lay the screen on a hard flat surface.

  • Remove hinges and wires for ease of removal.
