Where can I buy the replacement battery for this?
Pretty hard to find...
Replacement batteries can be found by googling "SP70C battery". It is a Lithium battery with 900mAh and a 3.7v output. AliExpress shows them for $11 including shipping.
i just attempted... the connector to the battery just pulled off. NOTE: Pull up from PCB not out. The connector sets down into it.
you didn’t show how to remove the inner ring that holds the battery in, looks very fragile and I don’t want to break it
brimest0ne, the inner ring is fastened down by the same three screws originally removed in step three! When you remove the inner ring, the bass volume adjustment side will give you a little resistance, just be gentle and it comes right off. That’s it, now replace the battery and start using the headset again! What I really want to know, has anyone done an upgrade will battery replacement and how much more time are you getting from the upgrade?
