Introduction

The port board is where the power and eject buttons, the IR sensor and the USB port are located. This guide shows how to replace it.

No parts required.

Use the PH1 screwdriver to remove the two 9mm screws on the back of the Blu-ray player. Use the PH1 screwdriver to remove the two 9mm screws on the back of the Blu-ray player.

  • Remove the ribbon connecting the port board to the motherboard.

  • Handle the circuits only on its side.
