Shark Professional Steam Pocket Mop Water Tank Cap Replacement

Introduction

Mineral buildup can occur when the water tank cap is not loosened before storing or if the tank is not drained. In these situations the cap can become stuck inside the tank. When this occurs, the cap is often lost or misplaced, which leads to a replacement.

Step 1 Water Tank Cap

Turn off the Steam Pocket Mop and unplug it from the wall.
Be sure that the water in the water tank cools to room temperature before proceeding.

Remove the water tank cap from the water tank reservoir.
Turn the cap towards the upward position.
Rotate counter-clockwise until it loosens.
When reassembling, align the grooves of new water tank cap with the opening of water tank reservoir and then push in.

Need a water cap for S3901 N3 11 Shark steam mop. They said they discontinued and I have ordered two online and neither will work. And I really going to have to buy a new one?
