Shark Navigator HEPA Filter Replacement

  1. Shark Navigator HEPA Filter Replacement, HEPA Filter: step 1, image 1 of 1
    • On the front of the vacuum, locate the latch on the bottom of the front vent.

  2. Shark Navigator HEPA Filter Replacement: step 2, image 1 of 1
    • Press up on the latch and remove the front vent

  3. Shark Navigator HEPA Filter Replacement: step 3, image 1 of 1
    • Lift the HEPA filter out of the vacuum

I did this, cleaned it under running water and now it pops off every time I vacuum. What’s wrong?

Was I not supposed to get it wet? How do I fix this?

On ours, the cover for the front HEPA filter refuses to latch back into place. The filter itself is undamaged, there are no apparent obstructions and the filter has never been wet, and yet the cover latch refuses to engage and often falls off during use. Any ideas?

Can you tell us dummies how to put the filter BACK IN? One simply can not reverse the instructions to put back in if it does not snap into place ever again after washing it. Please make it make sense. Thank you
