Samsung SGH-A237 Keypad Replacement

Step 1 Keypad



• Place phone face down so battery cover is showing.
Step 2



• Use thumb to push the cover down and off.
• Lift battery cover off the device.
Step 3
• Remove the five screws with a size 00 screwdriver. There are 4 in the corners and one on the top as shown.
Step 4
• Be sure that all 5 screws are removed and start to carefully remove the back cover by using the iPod Opening Tool in the slots on the bottom of the device.
• Some force must be applied, and the back cover should come off.
Step 5
• Detach the tab from the logic board shown by using the Ipod Opening Tool
Step 6
• Use the Ipod Opening Tool to lift the green logic board carefully.
• Remove the logic board from the device.
Step 7
• The keypad should peel off the logic board with a gentle pull.
• Use a clean, soft, cotton cloth to gently remove any debris or liquid that may be located on the pad or logic board interface.
