  5. Use the Phillips#00 screwdriver to remove the five black screws. Use the plastic opening tool to lift the two ribbons. Remove the metal internal cover to expose the motherboard.

  6. Use the plastic opening tool to lift the motherboard out of the device.

  7. Once you have removed the motherboard you will have access to the LCD screen. Use the plastic opening tool to remove the damaged LCD screen from the display assembly.

    • Put the new LCD screen in place and reassemble the device.
