  1. Remove the seven screws from the back panel of the device using a Phillips #0 screwdriver. Four of the screws are under the rubber feet so they will need to be removed with a spudger.

  2. Remove the two screws holding in the CPU fan. Lift the CPU fan. You might encounter some resistance from the thermal paste on the heatsink.

    • Detach the cord attached to the fan and attach it to the new CPU fan.

    • Insert the new fan and reassemble the device.
