It's perfect guide. I had a same situaton with my Air and cable that I ordered from here works perfect.
Thanks
I had no audio, with the sound icon in menu bar absent and volume panel grayed out. This repair worked! Be sure to label each screw type from each step of the guide (some screws that were supposed to be same mm from two different steps were not). Be careful not to strip screws when removing them, and not to cross-thread when reinserting. Thanks for the guide.
It works , easy to follow guide and super fast shipping of the cable (just 6days), thanks guys ! BRGDS from Spain
