Razer Megalodon – Virtual 7.1 Surround Sound USB Gaming Headset Ear Cushions Replacement

Introduction

Removing the ear cushions allows the user to begin disassembly of the rest of the device. If the ear cushion is damaged, it can also be replaced.

    • The ear cushions are removed from the device by slightly different methods.

    • To remove the left ear cushion (the side with the boom), rotate the cushion counter clockwise as far as it can turn, then pull the ear cushion straight out from the device.

    • To remove the right ear cushion, rotate it clockwise as far as it can turn, then pull the ear cushion straight out from the device.

    • In order to remove the cushion from the plastic backing, slide the leather free of the plastic edge, working around the entire cushion until it separates.
