Introduction

The trucks on a Penny board are an essential part of the board. They can get damaged in a variety of ways, which can lead to an unpleasant riding experience. Whether they get worn down or completely broken, they will need a replacement. Luckily, this repair is pretty simple so one can get back to skating in no time. For this repair, a skate tool will be required.

What you need

Step 1 Trucks

Use a skate tool to loosen the bolt in the wheel with an appropriately sized socket.
A skate tool will come with all the tools necessary to do this replacement from start to finish.

Step 2

Remove the wheel by lifting it from the truck.
Repeat this step for the other wheel.

Step 3

After completing the removal of both wheels, your board will look like this.
Place the skate tool over the bolt on the truck.
Maintain a good grip on the tool and use the Phillips screwdriver to loosen the nuts.
Repeat this step for all four screws.
