Introduction

This guide will show the steps needed to remove the GPS Module. In order to remove the GPS Module, the nose will have to be removed first. Removing the GPS Module will require disconnecting the wire connections on it.

Begin by removing the velcro strap around the battery. Begin by removing the velcro strap around the battery.

While holding onto the nose, gently pull the battery away from the nose. While holding onto the nose, gently pull the battery away from the nose.

Once the battery is separated from the nose, push down on the connector and pull the battery away from the connector. Take the metal spudger, to remove the double stick tape from the foam.

Remove the styrofoam nose from over the drone's camera by sliding it towards the front of the drone at an angle.

Remove the cable from the top of the GPS module.
  • Remove the cable from the top of the GPS module.

Remove the two 6mm T5 torx screws holding the GPS module. There is one screw on each side. Remove the  4mm T5 Screw holding the GPS Module.
  • Remove the two 6mm T5 torx screws holding the GPS module. There is one screw on each side.

  • Remove the 4mm T5 Screw holding the GPS Module.

Remove the GPS board by lifting it off of the metal frame.
  • Remove the GPS board by lifting it off of the metal frame.
