Did you ever find a replacement blade?

I called Panasonic's support number, and supposedly the inner blade at least, is priced from around $14 to $20, from various places. Considering major resellers have the whole trimmer for around $12, it would not make sense to get just a blade. Amazon has open-box wearhouse deals now, where the trimmers can be had for under $5.00. I may get one of these myself :)

Why would a nose hair trimmer need a replacement blade? And this particularly blade is more expensive then the trimmer itself.
