Palm Zire 21 Screen Replacement

Introduction

Use this guide to replace a screen on a Palm Zire 21

What you need

  1. Palm Zire 21 Screen Replacement, Screen: step 1, image 1 of 2 Palm Zire 21 Screen Replacement, Screen: step 1, image 2 of 2

    • Remove the two 0.8mm screws located on the back of the device.

    •  Using tweezers, or something similar flip up the tab, releasing the wires located under the flap

    • Using a Philips head screwdriver, remove the two screws located at the bottom of the board.

  5. Palm Zire 21 Screen Replacement: step 4, image 1 of 2 Palm Zire 21 Screen Replacement: step 4, image 2 of 2

    • Gently, remove the motherboard by lifting up exposing the screen.

  6. Palm Zire 21 Screen Replacement: step 5, image 1 of 2 Palm Zire 21 Screen Replacement: step 5, image 2 of 2

    • Carefully, remove the screen from the device by lifting up and replacing with a new one.
