Introduction

Use this guide to bring your Nokia XL Dual Sim back from the dead with a new battery.

What you need

Step 1 Replacing the battery

Shut off the device completely.
Separate the back cover from the device by gently prying the opening out at the loose locations.
Gently pry open each side of the device at the indicated locations. It is best to use a plastic opening tool or similar item.

Step 2 Battery Removal

Once the back cover is removed, the battery will be in plain sight.
Again, use the plastic opening tool to lift the battery. From there, you can simply remove it.

Step 3

You will now take your new battery and insert it into its designated location. Make sure to look at the position the battery was in before you took it out so you don't damage any of it's important parts.
Please be aware that your new battery may need to be charged first in order for your device to power back on.
