Introduction

This guide serves the purpose of replacing the Nokia Lumia 635 Mother Board when the user (you) cannot turn on the phone due a burnt Mother Board.

Open the back case of the phone using the plastic opening tool. Remove the battery.

Remove the five screws shown in the photo using the torx Screwdriver 5mm. Turn your phone sideways and you will find two more screws that you will need to remove using the Torx Screwdriver 5mm.

Remove the black sticker on the bottom left side (As shown in the picture).

Using the plastic opening tool separate the plastic cover from the screen.
  • Using the plastic opening tool separate the plastic cover from the screen.

  • On the top left corner you will see the screens flex cable attached to the mother board, watch out when separating them.

Carefully retrieve the camera and audio jack’s flex that is attached to the mother board as shown in the picture. Retrieve the burnt Mother Board and replace it with the new one. Retrieve the burnt Mother Board and replace it with the new one.
