Nokia 6590i Speaker Replacement

Introduction

This guide will show you how to remove the Speaker from the phone.

What you need

    • Press the button on the bottom of the rear cover.

    • Keep the button pressed while pulling the cover downward to remove the back cover.

    • Lift the cover off.

    • To remove the battery, push it down from the top and pull it out.

    • Grip the front cover from the bottom.

    • Remove the six screws using a T6 torx screwdriver.

    • Insert spudger along edge of assembly and gently lift assembly away from case

    • Remove assembly from phone

    • Flip assembly over

    • Locate speaker on the back of the assembly.

    • Insert spudger under upper left side of speaker and gently lift to remove

    • Remove speaker.
