What you need

  1. Nexus 7 Battery Cable Replacement, Battery Cable: step 1, image 1 of 2 Nexus 7 Battery Cable Replacement, Battery Cable: step 1, image 2 of 2

    • Using the tip of a spudger, push first on one side then the other to "walk" the battery cable straight out of its socket on the motherboard.
