Motorola V60s Speakers Replacement

Introduction

This is a guide showing how to replace the Motorola V60 speakers.

What you need

    • Push in release lever towards top of phone, then use blue spudger to pry case off.

    • After case is removed from the back of the phone, you can simply use your hands to take it the rest of the way off.

    • Set cover aside in a safe location.

    • Carefully grab battery towards bottom of phone.

    • Lift from bottom and take out of phone, set aside in a safe location.

    • Remove the four screws using a T6 Torx screwdriver.

    • Top screws are silver and short while bottom screws are black and longer.

    • Insert an iFixit opening tool into phone in between back panel and body of phone.

    • Carefully pry up until back panel comes off, then remove with hands and set aside.

    • Carefully insert an iFixit opening tool between the speaker and phone chassis. Slowly pry until speakers come out.

    • Be careful on this step; it may take some time.
