Logitech Dual Action disassembly

What you need

  1. Logitech Dual Action disassembly, Taking out the screws: step 1, image 1 of 1
    • To get into the controller, you will need to unscrew the 7 screws on the back.

    • You will have to remove the bottom oval sticker to reveal the screw circled in orange.

    • With the screws removed, turn the controller upside down. Insert the iFixit opening tool between the top and bottom casing to pry them apart.

    • Separate the top and bottom casing.

    • It is likely that the buttons will fall out of place, so as you open the controller, try to keep track of where the pieces go.

    • There should be the four circular buttons labeled 1-4, four smaller circular buttons for the D-Pad, and three rounded rectangular buttons.

  3. Logitech Dual Action disassembly, Cleaning the buttons: step 3, image 1 of 1
    • Turn the top casing of the controller over to remove all the buttons.

    • Wipe each individual button with a piece of cloth and rubbing alcohol.

What is the right side of dpad buttons when put back?

There a polish side and another with fabric numbers. What side have to be up and down?
