Step 1 Battery



• Remove the four 4 mm Phillips #00 screws securing the battery.

Step 2



• Disconnect the battery connector by pulling the battery cable directly out of its port, toward the battery.
• Do not pull on the socket itself or you risk damaging the motherboard.
• If necessary, apply force and slowly wiggle the connector out of its socket. It should work its way out slowly.

Step 3
• Lift the battery up and out of the chassis.

Step 4 Display
• Use an opening tool to pry off the display bezel.

Step 5
• Remove the four 4 mm screws with a Phillips #1 screwdriver.

Step 6
• Flip up the gate on the display ribbon cable, and pull it directly out of its port.
• Remove the display from the computer.
