Introduction
This guide will show you how to replace the Wi-Fi card in a Lenovo V15-ADA laptop.
The Wi-Fi card is what lets your laptop connect to wireless networks, so you can get online without using an Ethernet cable. If your laptop isn’t detecting Wi-Fi or keeps disconnecting, the card might be damaged or faulty. Replacing it can often fix those issues.
Before you start, make sure to turn off and unplug your laptop. When working inside the device, handle parts gently and avoid touching any exposed metal to prevent static damage.

Remove the 10 marked screws using a Phillips #1 screwdriver from the back plate.

M2.5 × 7 mm, Phillips-head (6) (RED circles)

M2.5 × 4 mm, Phillips-head (4) (ORANGE circles)

After removing all ten screws, use a plastic spudger to separate the bottom cover from the laptop.

Gently slide the tool around the edges until the clips begin to release.

Once all the clips are loose, lift the cover off and set it aside.

Disconnect the black wire with your fingers or small ESD-safe tweezers.

Lift the connector straight up to avoid bending it.

Remove the single 3 mm screw holding Wi-Fi card in place using a Phillips #1 screwdriver.

After removing the screw, the Wi-Fi card will pop up at an angle.

Gently pull the card straight out of the slot.

Remove the old Wi-Fi card from the slot.

Insert the new Wi-Fi card at the same angle and slide it into place.

Press the card down and reinstall the screw.

Reattach the black and gray antenna wires by pressing each connector straight down until it clicks.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
If your new Wi-Fi card isn’t working:
- Check that both antenna cables are securely reattached.
- Verify the card is seated properly in its slot.
- Make sure drivers are updated in your operating system.
- Try rebooting and checking BIOS/Device Manager for detection.
- If the issue persists, reinstall the card or try a different compatible model.
