  1. Flip the device so that the back cover is facing you.

    • Using the Phillips #0 screwdriver, remove the three screws holding down the battery.

  3. Using the Phillips #0 screwdriver, remove the metal reinforcement by removing the three screws. Using the Phillips #0 screwdriver, remove the metal reinforcement by removing the three screws.
    • Using the Phillips #0 screwdriver, remove the metal reinforcement by removing the three screws.

  4. Using the Phillips #0 screwdriver, carefully remove the three screws holding down the fan. Detach the cables connecting the fan to the motherboard. Detach the cables connecting the fan to the motherboard.
    • Using the Phillips #0 screwdriver, carefully remove the three screws holding down the fan.

    • Detach the cables connecting the fan to the motherboard.

  5. Using the Phillips #0 screwdriver, remove the six screws holding down the cooling unit. Using the Phillips #0 screwdriver, remove the six screws holding down the cooling unit.
    • Using the Phillips #0 screwdriver, remove the six screws holding down the cooling unit.

  6. Remove the Ethernet port by unscrewing the two screws holding it down. Remove the Ethernet port by unscrewing the two screws holding it down.
    • Remove the Ethernet port by unscrewing the two screws holding it down.

  7. Unplug the various cables attached to the motherboard using your fingers carefully. Detach the cables using your fingers.
