  • Remove the plastic lining around the screen (bezel) by using a small wedge under it and lifting up.

Image 1/1: If one part won't pop off start on the opposite side and work your way back to the area that is stuck.
  • Finish removing it by using your hand on the inside of the screen and popping off the bezel.

  • If one part won't pop off start on the opposite side and work your way back to the area that is stuck.

  • The plastic on the hinges will pop off with the rest of the bezel.

  • Unscrew the 4 screws in each corner of the screen

Image 1/1: Disconnect the cable connecting the screen to the computer, there might be two.
  • Peel sticker attaching the connector to the back of the screen.

  • Disconnect the cable connecting the screen to the computer, there might be two.
