Lenovo IdeaPad 330S Wireless Lan Card Replacement

What you need

    • Turn the device off.

    • Remove the 10 screws as shown in picture.

    • Using a pry tool , remove the bottom case.

    • Using a spudger gently push the plastic connector to the left in order to disconnect the battery.

    • Remove the three 00# screws.

    • Remove the 2.5 mm screw.

    • Gently pry the shield.

    • Before removing the screw (marked in red circle) remove the two antenna cables using the spudger.

    • Remove the screw.

    • The wireless card will lift, remove it.

    • Install the new wireless card.

So my laptop sometimes has no bluetooth, or wifi, or both. A quick reboot fixes it, but idk if the module is actually faulty. I've opened it before, and don't want to buy a replacement chip if this one is just seated poorly. Is there a good way to check. Thanks

Using the correct tools try to disconnect the cables from the socket and reseat them in the socket make just do as the guide but without removing the WLAN card
