What you need

  1. Lenovo G50-80 80E5 Hard Drive Replacement, Bottom Access Panel: step 1, image 1 of 2 Lenovo G50-80 80E5 Hard Drive Replacement, Bottom Access Panel: step 1, image 2 of 2

    • Remove the three screws securing the outer cover of the laptop using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

    • Slide the cover away from the hinges and lift the panel off.

    • Locate the 4 #00-5.5 mm Phillips screws securing the hard drive into the laptop.

    • Remove the 4 screws with the #00 Phillips screwdriver

    • With the screws removed, slide the hard drive away from the center of the laptop and remove it.
