LG G5 Battery Replacement

Introduction

This guide will help you through the steps to replace your LG G5 battery. The LG G5 is built to allow simple battery replacement, so you'll only need your hands for this process! Use this guide if your battery will not hold charge.

If your battery is swollen, take appropriate precautions.

What you need

    • Power down the phone by holding the power button for several seconds.

    • While holding the battery release button, pull the bottom end of the phone out of the body.

    • Separate the battery from bottom half.

    • Insert the new battery in the same position and orientation as the old battery. Match up the arrows to be sure the orientation is correct.
