I was going to do this to fix my son's tablet and then I looked up the cost of a replacement battery on eBay. Almost $100! Do you have a good source for a new battery?

Unfortunately, no, there does not seem to be a good part supplier for the G Pad X 8.0. As you mention, the best I see is eBay at $82.

2 years on they're $14

I have researched this battery, the LG BL T-20. I found one that is 4800 MaH. The LG Gpad X8.0 has the same battery that is 4650 MaH. If I order the 4800 MaH, will it work?

I would check the voltage as well but I can't see why it wouldn't work unless there is any size differences.

This worked great for me. I found a battery on eBay for $15. I had to use a large knife to start the case to split. Once I had that, it was pretty easy to get it to separate Thanks tons!
