Kindle Touch Battery Replacement

Introduction

If your Touch quickly runs out of battery or if it won’t charge, it may be time to replace the battery.

What you need

    • Use the plastic opening tool to undo the ten plastic clips around the back panel of the Kindle.

    • Gently lift the bottom and slide the panel off.

    • Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove these 5 screws.

    • Using the flat end of your spudger, gently pry the battery up and remove it.
