What you need

  1. KidzLane Walkie-Talkie Press-to-speak button Replacement, Press-to-speak button: step 1, image 1 of 1
    • Place the Walkie-Talkie on a flat surface-preferably a table or a desk.

    • Flip the device over to where you see four screws in each corner.

    • Make sure you take out the batteries before proceeding.

    • Using your Phillips head screwdriver, unscrew all four 4mm screws from each corner.

  3. KidzLane Walkie-Talkie Press-to-speak button Replacement: step 3, image 1 of 1
    • Once you have unscrewed all four corners, open the device so it will be in two parts.

    • As you're opening the inside of the Walkie-Talkie, don't break off any wires within the device.

    • Taking the Phillips head screwdriver again, unscrew the three screws on the circuit board (green plate).

    • Separate these screws from the other four since they are different sizes.

    • Take the circuit board out of the plastic casing.

    • Use the soldering device to iron the silver box (press-to-speak button), and then remove it from the circuit board.
