JBL Flip 3 Front Active Driver Replacement

What you need

  1. JBL Flip 3 Front Active Driver Replacement, Front Active Driver: step 1, image 1 of 1
    • Remove plastic outer housing using hands or a standard spudger.

  2. JBL Flip 3 Front Active Driver Replacement: step 2, image 1 of 1
    • Using your hands, carefully remove outer housing and frame to expose the internal workings of the speaker.

  3. JBL Flip 3 Front Active Driver Replacement: step 3, image 1 of 1
    • Remove the 8.9mm Phillips #00 screws on each corner of the driver to be replaced. There are four screws per driver. Be sure to set the screws somewhere safe to ensure they aren’t lost.

  4. JBL Flip 3 Front Active Driver Replacement: step 4, image 1 of 1
    • Remove the 3-pin connector from motherboard.

My JBL flip 3 had those ‘3 pin connectors’ non-removable. So basically I destroyed my speaker.
