Image 1/1: To ensure you don't lose any tiny parts during the replacement process, place parts on the white magnetic sheet.
  • Use a #0 Phillips head screwdriver to remove the four small black screws from the back of the device.

  • To ensure you don't lose any tiny parts during the replacement process, place parts on the white magnetic sheet.

  • Once the screws have been removed, proceed to take off back cover.

  • Now, proceed to lift the battery out and remove it.

  • Use a #0 Phillips screwdriver to remove the four small silver screws from the outside corners of the battery housing.

  • Now gently pry the front cover off. A Black Spudger can be used to assist in the removal of the cover.

Image 1/2: Pull the motherboard out and down away from the top of the phone. Image 2/2: Pull the motherboard out and down away from the top of the phone.
  • Gently separate the mainboard from the battery housing. This may be difficult around the headphone jack. Use a spudger if necessary.

  • Pull the motherboard out and down away from the top of the phone.
