Huawei Y300 Charging Port Replacement

Introduction

Step 1 Charging Port

Remove the back plate by hand. There is a small indent on the bottom of the phone to pry open.

Lift up and remove the battery.

Use a T4 Torx screwdriver to remove the 8 screws along the outer edge of the case.

Using the plastic opening tool, pry the screen from the casing. Insert the tool between the case and screen to pry the pieces apart.
Take care to not damage the screen or case.

Use a soldering iron to desolder the four connections to the charging port.
