      • Look for the exact part number you need, which is on the end of your Receiver.

      • The first letter corresponds to the strength of the receiver. It will be S for small, M for medium, or P for power.

      • The number corresponds to the length of the wire.

      • The next letter corresponds to which side the receiver is for, so it will be either L or R for left or right.

      • Put your thumb over the receiver wire and grasp it tightly.

      • Pull the wire straight up out of the hearing aid.

      • Push it all the way into the hearing aid by pushing down on the edge of the plug with your fingernail.

Thank you so much for this page. It's the only place on the internet I found that gives the exact instructions for replacing the receiver link. Also the only place that explains exactly what the codes mean that are stamped on the receiver so that I can order the right part!

Sadly, no wires found on eBay to replace the one for the Widex Evoque 440 my dog chewed up.

Wondering if any of the later model receivers+wires are both compatible and inconspicuous ?
