A faucet not emitting adequate water pressure, because of a clogged aerator, can cause a hassle or delay in the kitchen, which works in no one's favor. I am providing step-by-step details and procedures on how to clean an aerator of a kitchen faucet that is restraining water pressure. This fix requires a locking pliers and distilled white vinegar.

Shut off valves that are located under the sink and position faucet in the center to drain remaining water.

Step 2

Avoid dropping small parts down the sink by covering the surface of the holes.

Step 3

Unscrew and remove aerator with a wrench.

Step 4

Clean aerator by soaking it in white vinegar overnight in a bowl or cup.

Step 5

Dry off aerator with a towel.

Step 6

Use a wrench to screw back on the aerator to the faucet.

Step 7

Slowly turn back on water valves to check for improves water pressure.
Make sure sink is cleared and components of faucet that were removed are sealed tight.
