VAUDE ultralight tents have an expanded lifespan, first-rate water repellency and excellent UV-resistance with a triple silicone layer, some on the inside as well. The seams are factory seam sealed – with a process that’s unique to VAUDE tents. In order to make your VAUDE ultralight tent 100% waterproof, however, you’ll need to hand seal high-stress anchor points. Read on to find out how.
No parts specified.
Seal all seam intersecting points on the tent fly, i.e. tent suspension, door straps, etc. on the front and back side. If desired, spread more Sil Net between the straps as well. Use the brush on the tube and evenly spread a thin layer of Sil Net on all seam intersections.
