This guide is to fix a loose light socket on an Ashley furniture table lamp model L37721. This guide can also be used for other table lamps of a similar design. A loose socket on a lamp can be a fire and electrical hazard that should be corrected as soon as possible. Before using this guide, inspect the base of the lamp to make sure that base or threaded rod is not damaged. If the lamp base or threaded rod is broken, then this guide will not help.

Before beginning, make sure that the lamp is not connected to an electrical source .

    • Unplug the lamp from the electrical socket.

    • Ensure that there is no electrical charge in the lamp by turning the lamp on and off.
