Hoover WindTunnel 2 Rewind Primary Air Filter Replacement

Introduction

The primary air filter is in the vacuum's dust cap and prevents dust from being sucked out of the dust cup.

It's designed to be easily cleaned or replaced, so it's a quick process.

If your filter merely needs to be cleaned, you can follow this guide, but instead of replacing the filter you can rinse it under a faucet and reinstall it.

What you need

Step 1 Primary Air Filter

Press button on the top of the dust cup and pull back.
Remove dust cup from vacuum

Pull back on black lever and rotate dust cup lid back.

Lift up on fabric flap to remove filter from vaccum
If you wish to clean the filter rather than replace it, it can be washed under a faucet.
If washing the filter, make sure it fully dries out before re-installing.
