How you put your iPhone 7 into DFU Mode?

    • Connect your iPhone 7 to a computer or laptop with the lightning to USB cable.

    • Push and hold the sleep/wake button and the volume down button (the – button) at the same time, and do this for exactly 10 seconds.

    • After the 10 seconds, release the sleep/wake button, but continue to hold the volume down button for another 10 seconds. Pay attention! Unlike recovery mode where you get to see the message ‘Connected to iTunes’, the screen will remain black in DFU mode.

    • If you do see the connected to iTunes message, this means going to DFU mode has failed, and you have to start over from step 1.

    • Turn on iTunes. You should get a message stating: ‘iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. You must restore this iPhone before it can be used with iTunes’.

    • The next step is to get your iPhone 7 out of DFU mode. As long as your iPhone works fine, this should not be a problem. The only thing you have to do is:

    • Push the sleep/wake button and the volume down button at the same time until the Apple logo appears. Your iPhone should automatically go to the lock screen.

Conclusion

Have you tried everything, but your iPhone 7 still doesn’t work properly? Then, it is likely not a software problem, which means a repair is the only solution.
