Hipstreet Equinox 2 Motherboard Replacement

Introduction

If your motherboard gets broken by a bad fall or damage while replacing another part it will need to be replaced. Please note that all data is on the motherboard so you will lose your data.

What you need

  1. Hipstreet Equinox 2 Motherboard Replacement, Rear Case: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Remove the two 3mm screws using a PH00 screwdriver.

    • Use the blue plastic opening tool to gently pry the back case off.

    • Unsolder these wires from the motherboard, it is a good idea to label these wires as you remove them according to the picture to the left.

    • Remove contact strips by lifting gently on the clip indicated in this picture, then pulling strip out of the clip.

    • Remove the 3.5mm screws located at these locations shown on the picture by using the PH00 screwdriver.

  7. Hipstreet Equinox 2 Motherboard Replacement: step 6, image 1 of 1

    • Gently lift the motherboard out of the tablet, make sure no wires are still caught or attached while you lift the motherboard.
