Hipstreet Equinox 2 Battery Replacement

Introduction

After years of service your battery may be weak or no longer hold a charge. This guide replaces your battery with a new one.

What you need

  1. Hipstreet Equinox 2 Battery Replacement, Rear Case: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Remove the two 3mm screws using a PH00 screwdriver.

    • Use the blue plastic opening tool to gently pry the back case off.

    • Disconnect the wires that connect the battery to the motherboard using the spudger.

    • Slide the spudger underneath the battery and gently lift it off of the adhesive.

    • Place the new battery in the same location and connect the wires the same way as the previous battery.
